Encouraging first day for Augusto Fernández at Brno

The first day of Moto2 free practice sessions on the Czech circuit in Brno saw Speed Up riders following different work schedules with encouraging results for both.

Augusto Fernández, in his first outing on the iconic Brno track, finished the FP1 in eighteenth position with a gap of two seconds from first.

In the second free practice, he managed to reduce the gap to -1.629 increasing his confidence with the track and the familiarity with the Speed Up SF7.

“A good start after the break. I am happy to have been able to improve the lap time since the first day of testing and then reduce the gap from the first. I like the track even if it is very difficult. Tomorrow we will continue with the set-up and especially with the familiarization with the new track”.
