Augusto runs race pace simulation on day one at Misano
Speed Up rider Augusto Fernandez enjoyed two solid free practice sessions at Misano today, improving his lap time and testing a good race pace.
In the morning session, the young Spaniard got an excellent fifteenth position in 1’39.370 while maintaining a steady pace throughout the session. In the FP2, however, he focused on the race pace while maintaining the tyres of the previous session.

“We started well this morning, we were pleased with the fifteenth time at a second from the first. I felt good with the bike, in fact in the afternoon we did not make great changes, but we simulated the race pace. We then scored twenty-sixth as we used the FP1 tyres. We missed the fast lap, but we know the reason why!”
