At the end of the first race day of the Gran Premio Movistar de Aragón, Speed Up rider Augusto Fernandez, took fourteenth place in the combined free practice sessions.

A slight rain featured the first session in the morning, forcing the riders to run slowly. It was a good practice session for the young Augusto, who got ninth at the end of the FP1 with only 14 laps.

In the afternoon, both Speed UP rivers waited for track conditions to improve before starting the second session. Along with his technician, Augusto managed to find the right dry setup that allowed him to get his fourteenth position.

“I finally came to a circuit I know pretty well. We started off on the right foot by marking good times in different climatic conditions. The feeling is good, we must continue to work in this way if we want to compete in the race.”
