Augusto aiming for first points from top ten grid spot in Motegi
With the best qualifying of the season, Augusto Fernandez snatched the fourth row of the grid for tomorrow’s race at the Twin Ring Motegi.
The young Spaniard has confirmed the good work he has done during these two days of practice sessions bringing his Speed Up SF7 to tenth place. Only 3 free sessions were enough to learn the Japanese track and get the best result.

“I am very happy with my first top ten qualifying! It was not easy because we started with the wet and then the track was slowly dried up and we had to change the tyres. This has penalized us a bit because we were fourth with the wet. However, we worked well even with the dry. Tomorrow I hope to make a good start and fight for the top ten!”
