The SF7 Speed Up bikes will start tomorrow from the seventh row in the Valencia Grand Prix that close the curtain on the 2017 Moto2 season.

The last free practice of the morning was dedicated by Speed Up riders, Simone Corsi and Augusto Fernandez, to improve bikes setup. In the qualifying session, decisive for tomorrow’s grid definition, Augusto crashed at start and then struggled to find the feeling he has achieved in the free sessions.

However, he managed to improve his lap time that brings him to 21st position on the grid.

“I’m sorry for the position we got today because we completed 3 free practice sessions with good results. After the crash in qualifying, we lost the rhythm we had achieved. With the new set up of the bike we were unable to improve the time after the crash. We could do more, but we are still determined to make a good race to close this first experience in the Moto2 World Championship.”
