Augusto Fernández to start from thirteenth place at the German GP
The second German GP practice day at Sachsenring circuit was quite positive for Augusto Fernández. The Pons HP 40 rider is feeling more comfortable with his Kalex each day and that can be seen in his results on track.
With a fastest lap of 1:24.333, Fernández will start from the thirteenth place. Starting from the fifth row should allow the Spanish rider to fight for the Top 10 and keep the good progression.
The last race before Summer break will start tomorrow at 12:20.
Augusto Fernández #40 – 13th, 1:24.333 (+0.546)
“I’m happy because we keep improving in the qualifying practice, that is the hardest session for me, taking advantage from the new tyres and making a good lap. I even think that I could have been a bit faster but with the rise in temperature I wasn’t able to take advantage from the second tyres. We’re starting from the thirteenth place and that’s not bad at all. I hope to make a good start and be able to get to the first group, because we have a good rhythm”.
