Difficult first day at Assen for Augusto Fernández

The riders of the FlexBox HP 40 have started this Friday the eighth round of the Moto2 World Championship held on the legendary TT circuit of Assen, the cathedral of motorcycling and the longest stage in the world, hosting races since 1955.

Today proved a pretty difficult day for Augusto Fernández. The Spanish rider started with good feelings but a mechanical failure in his Kalex made him finish the first session ahead of time. Because of that, he came out to the second session with some things still to prove. Even so, he is optimistic and with a clear line of work for tomorrow and improve positions. The riders of the FlexBox HP 40 will return to the track tomorrow Saturday at 10:55 AM to play the last free practice, and the official session that will determine the order on the starting grid, at 3:05 PM.
