Augusto places sixth on first day at the Sachsenring

Augusto Fernández and teammate went to the first free practice at the Sachsenring today with the aim of working on the correct set-up of their Kalex to face the weekend with guarantees, and both have had positive feelings.

It proved a good first day Augusto, who arrives full of morale after his first victory in Assen. Doing a day from less to more, in the afternoon he has felt comfortable and has run with competitive times, stopping the clock at a best time of 1:24.391 which serves to dismiss the day in sixth position. He feels strong and confident for the second day tomorrow.

“Happy with the first day in Germany. In the morning it was a bit difficult but in the afternoon we found the way to work. I still have to adjust a couple of details but we are close to the good set-up and tomorrow more and best”.
