“It was a difficult race, I have not felt comfortable from the beginning and it has been difficult for me to pick up the pace. Today I played to get the maximum possible and in the end good points for the championship finishing P6. We are still third, it’s time to charge batteries these weeks and get stronger”

Augusto completed the first half of the 2019 season with a sixth place in Sachsenring which allows him to continue up the classification of the Moto2 World Championship.

The race in Germany was complicated at the start and in the opening stages with difficulties to find the right rhythm and feeling comfortable. Augusto’s work was focused on not losing the wake of Luthi to try to add the maximum points possible, in a Grand Prix Sachsenring, which since Friday has not been the most favourable of weekends.

The competition continues in Moto2 and after the holiday break, and we expect an an exciting end to a very exciting championship. See you around…
