Augusto to start Thai GP from sixth place on the grid
The second day of training in Thailand has started with an intense rain that has modified the schedule for the day, although the riders in the Moto2 category have been able to rider both sessions in dry conditions.
Augusto Fernández, who yesterday already had good feelings, today confirmed them. Directly in Q2, the protege of Sito Pons was able to complete a good lap in the last lap of the qualifying, stopping the clock at 1:35,58, starting the grand prix from sixth place: a good qualifying for the rider of the FlexBox HP 40 who aspires tomorrow to fight for top position.

“Difficult day in general, since in the morning I have not finished feeling at ease. Despite this, we were still close to the best time. Already in the qualifying there were quite a few drivers and it was difficult to do the time alone, but I marked my time so, alone, which is how faster it went. Second row, not bad and tomorrow we will give everything as usual.”
