The MotoGP World Championship arrived at the now legendary Jerez-Ángel Nieto circuit. Saturday’s Sprint was a crazy race.
Where the falls due to the state of the track after the rain caused many pilots to abandon. Augusto Fernández, elusive and overcame all difficulties, with great driving, which allowed him to finish in P7.
Sunday arrived and in the early morning the fans lit up the circuit and a great day of racing dawned. Augusto Fernández fought until his clutch failed and he had to abandon the race.
Augusto Fernandez:
“A bit of a disaster. I had a technical problem at the start and I could not stop the bike rolling. I wasn’t feeling great and then missed the Long Lap penalties: one to forget! Anyway, we have a test tomorrow where we really need to work to improve and to be more competitive and build the base we are missing.”
