The Real Club Deportivo Mallorca, had the detail of paying tribute, with delivery of the club shirt with his name on the back, to the current Moto2 world champion, Augusto Fernández.
The Sencelles rider, who spends a few days on the island before returning to competition at the Mugello circuit for the Italian Grand Prix of the MotoGP World Cup, was moved to receive the shirt in a packed stadium that was ending the season against Rayo Vallecano.
The KTM rider brought luck to the team and was able to enjoy Mallorca’s resounding 3-0 victory. Which leaves the Mallorcan team in the first division of La Liga.
